Born and raised in South Florida, Dr. Freddy Vallejo has always had a passion for the medical health sciences. With a grandfather, father, two uncles and two brothers and their wives as physicians medicine is the family business. Dentistry allowed Dr. Vallejo to combine his passion for medicine and helping people out of pain with his commitment to family. It is a choice that is validated everyday through his patients, wife and children.
From the beginning, Dr. Vallejo aggressively pursued excellence. He was accepted to the competitive General Practice and Hospital Dentistry program at leading institution, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and studied with one of the top cosmetic dentists in the country while there. He as the first in his class to gain Junior and Senior Clinical status, and was the only resident chosen from UCLA and one of only four out of greater than 200 interviewees to be selected for an externship with the Public Health Department in Colorado.
After graduation Dr. Vallejo attended the internationally renowned Mish Implant Institute for Implantology. He is a Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and holds dental licenses in Illinois, New York and Florida.

While his credentials are impressive and he has earned the respect of colleagues and patients, Dr. Vallejo has a deeper motivation for his continued pursuit of excellence. His natural compassion for people deepened when he and his family faced a personal medical crisis when his then 1 year old son was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and given a 30% chance for survival. His son went through 3 years of intensive treatment during which the family relocated to Sloan Kettering in NY. Today his son is a happy, healthy active pre-teen. The experience deepened Dr. Vallejo’s faith and his commitment to serving patients. He and his family started a nonprofit organization, Families Fighting Neuroblastoma to help other families with children diagnosed with the disease.
Dr. Vallejo loves the interaction with his patients and wants everyone to leave with the confidence that they have chosen the right partner for their oral health care. He works hard to put patients at ease and holds himself to a tough standard of quality believing his patients deserving nothing less than the very best.
Dr. Vallejo has practiced implantation since 1997. He is a member of the American Dental Association Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, Broward County Dental Society and is a Diplomat with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, boating, snow skiing, football and sports in general. His number one beauty tip is to wear sun protection year round and partner with your dental provider to maintain good health.
