  • Gives a more brighter Smile
  • Boosts up self-confidence
  • We offer a variety of solutions for brightening your smile
Studies have shown that bright, white smiles are viewed as warmer, friendlier, and more attractive. Unfortunately, time takes a toll on naturally bright tooth enamel. Dark colored foods and drinks, tobacco products, and other factors lead to stains and overall discoloration. Fortunately, this is easily remedied with professional teeth whitening, which is one of the fastest and most economical cosmetic dental procedures available.

We offer a variety of solutions for brightening your smile. You can choose the method that best fits your goals and busy schedule, and you can feel confident knowing that your treatment is customized and administered by trained professionals. We will begin with a comprehensive oral examination to determine if teeth whitening is right for you. Although the procedure is extremely safe, and it requires no tooth alteration, certain oral health issues may need to be addressed prior to bleaching. Broken or decayed teeth may expose the nerves, and cause sensitivity or pain on contact with whitening material. Additionally, professional teeth cleaning is usually recommended to remove surface stains as well as biofilm, which can inhibit contact between the enamel and the bleaching gel.

At-home whitening

If you prefer to whiten in the comfort of your own home, we will take impressions of your mouth to create customized trays. A proper fit is essential for both safety and efficacy. If the tray leaks, the solution can be exposed to oxygen and diluted with saliva, reducing its effectiveness. Additionally, the leaking gel can irritate your gums and other soft tissues in your mouth. This is one of the reasons that professionally supervised whitening is a better choice than over the counter, mass produced trays.

We also provide professional strength whitening gel and complete instructions. You will need to wear the trays daily, for about 35 to 45 minutes. The length of treatment depends on your desired results and the degree of staining. Most patients achieve optimal whitening in about two weeks.

In-office whitening

For the fastest results and most dramatic improvement, we offer in-office whitening. The procedure generally takes about an hour. We begin by covering all soft tissues to prevent any exposure, and then apply a high strength bleaching gel. A single treatment can lighten teeth by several shades, making this a great option for those in a hurry. However, in-office whitening can be less predictable than at-home treatment.

For the deepest stains, we often use a deep bleaching protocol involving a combination of in-office and at-home treatments. Research has shown that the best results may be achieved with one week of at-home treatment, followed by in-office whitening, and completed with an additional week of home treatment.

We will be happy to work with you to develop a plan tailored to your individual cosmetic and aesthetic needs. Please call our office at 954-382-0110 and schedule a consultation today.
